My Background

My Mission

My mission is to produce a first-rate, realistic, student-based educational system supported by students, staff, parents, and community. By doing this, we will be a county that connects the future generations with post high school education and careers.

My Background

After graduation from high school, I spent 21 years in the military. Afterwards I completed my bachelor's, masters and doctorate degree. I have been a teacher in both technology and special education. I spent time as an athletic director, STEM coordinator and dean of students. Much of my career in education has been on the frontline doing my best to provide life lessons that will create successful and fulfilling lives for todays youth.

I support the community through various activities. I coach football, basketball. I officiate athletic events at the middle and high school level. This year I started a STEM program and brought a team of middle school students to Flagstaff that competed in a robotics competition.

As the Mohave County Superintendent of Schools, I will provide transparent education services for students from pre-school through grade 12, pledging that they receive a model education, and that your tax dollars are spent efficiently.
